Superintendent - Restaurants/Retail

National GC seeks Superintendents with a strong background in restaurants/brewing systems.  We are looking for So. Cal. local applicants only who are committed, can self perform if necessary and will travel if necessary.

His/her responsibilities include field supervision of assigned projects including but not limited to the responsibilities as follows; 

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scheduling subcontractors /vendors to meet critical path to ensure timely completion.
Perform quality control inspections on subcontractors and matierials.
Communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.
Ensure subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
Ensure subcontractors correct all deficiencies identified by project team.
Hold weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work sequencing and discuss safety.
Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site.
Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a site Superintendent. Must have thorough knowledge of various trades. PLEASE PROVIDE PROJECT LIST.
Ability to read Blueprints and work Microsoft Office products.
