National General Contractor seeks experienced traveling "working" Superintendents local to the Bay Area that specialize in "retail roll-outs". Must like the challenge of fast moving projects and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule at all times, when working with national retailers.
We are looking for an individuals that have verifiable experience of at least 5 years that are willing to get their hands dirty if needed to drive a schedule. They will report directly to the Project Manager(s) who is in charge of each specific program. His/her responsibilities include field supervision of any given local project(s), including its organization, planning, coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety concerns, in order to ensure proper delivery to the client as committed to by Bergman KPRS.
Schedule subcontractors, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion. Communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite. Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work. Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts. Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work. Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site.
Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience with thorough knowledge of various trades Hands on mentality - willing to pitch in whenever and wherever needed if required.
Ability to read Blueprints.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using a computer.
Communicate using the following tools: telephone, written logs, email, computer, IPhone devices, digital camera.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Highly motivated and ability to be flexible in a team environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CM Expedition
